Alistair studied medicine at the University of QLD and then undertook General Practice training in Melbourne. He achieved Fellowship of the RACGP in 2015 and since then has worked in a variety of general practice settings both around Melbourne and in several remote locations in the Northern Territory.
Alistair enjoys the diversity of family medicine and welcomes working with patients of all ages from birth to old age. Particular areas of interest include preventative medicine, chronic disease management, musculoskeletal medicine/sports injury management and men’s health. Alistair is skilled at performing minor procedures such as implanon insertion and removal, skin excisions and joint injections.
Prior to medicine Alistair had a career in biological research. Outside of medicine Alistair is enthusiastic about playing sport and has represented Australia at multiple world championships in Ultimate disc. In June 2019 he became a father for the first time and remains excited about watching the new addition to the family grow up.
